Note that dar/libdar is not much visible today, this is my fault,
taking too much time to work on dar/libdar than to speak about its
existence. So you should probably consider additional means to let
everybody know about gdar... Naively, I thought that if a product is
interesting its reputation/advertisement will be done by itself.
Today, I just wonder whether I was right to thing so...

And, just to let you know, I could compile gdar-1.0 on Debian Wheezy
7.8 without problem :-) with the assistance of recent libdar package.
