file size exceeded

Yesterday, I tried to backup my system and didn't set the slice size.
When the .dar file got to 2G on my reiserfs, it died with a file size
exceeded error.  Since dar can recognize this error, shouldn't it just
start a new slice and try to continue from where it left off?
