So far I'm using librsync 0.9.x. I will check later how to have libdar
compiling against librsync 1.0.x, but now I know where to look at,

not yet finished, that's correct. You can follow the feature
development status at http://sourceforge.net/p/dar/feature-requests/
and be notified of evolution if you want to as I keep that up to date.
