Of course, dar is not as well know as tar which is probably one of the
oldest Unix program (at least 20 years old), dar has only ... 2 years...
:-)

I tried last major release to port dar to MacOS X, but failed due to
some important compatibility problem between GNU system and MacOS X. I
don't deseperate succeeding one day. :-)
