Hi all,

Some "unofficial" news:

I hope to release 2.7.0 in the first quarter of this year, still
remains a lot of documentation refresh to complete.

I've spend (more than lost) more than one month of my spare time to
setup a benchmark with dar/tar/rsync. As dar users you might be
interesting in its result, which a preview is available here:

It could have been done else, but I will not touch it much more now to
respect the 2.7.0 target date. However any feedback is welcome!

By the way, let me wish you all a happy an healthy new year. We may
reside in different countries, have different cultures, speak various
languages, this pandemic is just a reminder that we share the same
world, for the bad unfortunately, but also for the good hopefully.
