do you know the merge-command?

In your case you could either merge to subsequent incremental archives or
merge the incremental archive with the baseline:
dar --merge <output_archive> -A <diff_file_or_base> -@ <next_diff_file>
--overwrite-policy "{-I}[Oo][Rr]" --no-warn

The overwriting policy is used to also delete files in the base archive
(<diff_file_or_base>) when they are marked as deleted in the
next_diff_file. Read the man page for details.

If a new archive is created you can delete diff_file and next_diff_file and
probably rename output_archive properly.
