dar_manager enhancement?

Firstly, I should note that this is not a priority request, but it's a
feature that I would find useful from time to time.

There are occasions when I, or a another user, deletes a file, or perhaps a
directory, which needs to be recovered later on. I have used the
dar_manager -f directive to find the missing data, but this is of little
use when the *exact* path and/or filename is not known. My question is: is
there a way of searching the catalogue using, say, a regular expression?
Could such a feature be added, or maybe there is a way of doing this
already that I'm unaware of?
