Many thanks for update and all the work involved. I am happy to reply
that it was worth the effort, it now works on all of my systems also
with my cloud provider (Hetzner)!

Also thanks for this detailed writeup, it is definitely helpful and for
sure, I will keep a bookmark to it.  Static compilation involving such a
variety of dependencies is really tricky and I am glad that there is
musl (I am not an expert, but it seems not to be affected by the reasons
[this post touches on](https://stackoverflow.com/a/57478728/4905542).

I am looking forward to stay tuned about Dar,
