just to let you know that I have setup a script that builds dar_static 
automatically. It is expected to work under Musl-VoidLinux and will be 
available with the next release (in misc subdirectory).

You can however already grab it from git (branch_2.7.x)
misc/dar_static_builder_with_musl_voidlinux.bash
