Question about Install Hdup 1.6 in Redhat 9

Hi!
I want to use Hdup1.6 in my RedHat 9, I try to use
Postgresql 7.3. But I don't really know how to do
that.

1) Assume my Redhat 9 is a download version and I have
chosen to install the completed mode, so all the
package are installed.

2) Can Hdup 1.6 suitable to install in my case?

3) Do anything I need to pay attention, during my
installation?

4)Could you all give me more instruction?
