Monthly backup successful, daily backup fails

Hello all - 

I've successfully installed hdup and have been able to perform a full monthly
remote backup, but when I attempt to run a daily, I receive the message "could
not find previous backup list!".  The local directory where the monthly.include,
etc is currently /opt/backup/etc.

Any thoughts on what might be causing this?
