Hmm, I never saw anybody report this. And if I do a quick check (with
only one archive file though) I just works. (backing up and
restoring).

Trying to trouble shoot this something very weird happened. I created
a gpg signed backup and then I tried to restore it. This failed and
bzip2 give an error of not detecting the file type. So I thought this
must have hit you too. Well, what do you know: the errors disappered
on subsequent restores:

% ./hdup -q -c ../hdup2.conf restore elektron today /tmp/GPG
./hdup: elektron: STARTING RESTORE.

You need a passphrase to unlock the secret key for
user: "R. Gieben <[email protected]>"
1024-bit ELG-E key, ID B75E3CCC, created 2003-12-10 (main key ID 7764AB4B)
