I've started a new page for hdup2 (see subject). 

hdup1.6 development has already stopped. All bugs filed against 
it are fixed in the 2.0 prerelease. So hdup 1.6.37 is probably the
last 1.6 release.

hdup2.0 should be very much backwards compatible (as not _that_ much
has changed). The only thing to be aware of is, ofcourse, the include and
exlude stuff. But that didn't work reliably in hdup1.6 in the first
place.
