I had the same issue, yesterday. Never had such problems with hdup before=
.
I got same size on weekly and daily as the monthly had. For me it was=20
solved when testing
with another newer tar.
I took tar from debian sarge (testing) tar 1.13.93 and then everything=20
worked flawless.
The platform with trouble was CentOS 3.4 (Clone of RHEL3 update4),=20
redhat uses tar version 1.13.25. Maybe something in hdup doesnt work=20
with tar 1.3.25 anymore ?
