you do a monthly backup on the pen, and then pad it with weekly's (every
week) and daily's every day. If the thing is full and you can burn a CD
of it. 

You can always get your stuff back if there is a monthly (duh..) and then you
can get more recent versions of your files if you have more recent weekly's
and daily's.
