rdiff-backup release 2.6.0?

Hi Eric and Patrik!

Thanks for all your work on rdiff-backup in past year!

There is a bunch of nice improvements listed at
https://github.com/rdiff-backup/rdiff-backup/blob/master/CHANGELOG.adoc.
What is the current plan on releasing 2.6?

I see there are bunch of items open for milestone 2.4
(https://github.com/rdiff-backup/rdiff-backup/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+milestone%3A2.4.0)
and none for 2.6, but maybe you can reassign the open items to
milestone 2.8 and release what you have now on mainline?

PPA at https://launchpad.net/~rdiff-backup/+archive/ubuntu/rdiff-backup-development
with the latest development version in case you want to contribute to
the project by testing!
