Hi again,

as strange as it is, replacing the _ with - didn't help. Even complete
renaming that resulted in
full1
differential11 full1
differential12 full1
...
didn't work. I get the same results as mentioned before.
The versions of cut I use (including the according options from the
manpages):
woody: cut (GNU textutils) 2.0
-f, --fields=LIST
output only these fields
-d, --delimiter=DELIM
use DELIM instead of TAB for field delimiter
sarge: cut (coreutils) 5.2.1
`-f FIELD-LIST'
`--fields=FIELD-LIST'
Print only the fields listed in FIELD-LIST. Fields are separated
by a TAB character by default. Also print any line that contains
no delimiter character, unless the `--only-delimited' (`-s')
option is specified
`-d INPUT_DELIM_BYTE'
`--delimiter=INPUT_DELIM_BYTE'
For `-f', fields are separated in the input by the first character
in INPUT_DELIM_BYTE (default is TAB).
Looks the same to me. Please feel free to ask me to do any tests you
would like me to do.
Unfortunately I am out of office until next Wednesday.
Thanks for the reply to both of you, Tristan & Joseph.
Joergen.
