Hi there, I'm testing Sarab at the moment and what it can do. maybe i'm gonna use it in the future for my backup planning. My test environment I've setup Dar, Kdar and Sarab on a Suse 10.0 machine. Server 1 is a Windows server. A share called test have to be backupped. Server 2 is a Windows server. A share called test2 have to be backupped. I've made a script, that the shares on server 1 and 2 are automatically mounted 5 minutes before the backup starts. Just incase if the Windows servers are rebooted during an update so I don't miss them. There's no automaticcally re-connecting, because the backupserver is apart from the domain. The share on server1 will be backupped, but for the share on server2 I get the following error: Backup started at Tue Jul 25 14:11:17 CEST 2006 Reading the top line of the rotation.schedule file... Creating a full-backup on the virtual-tape named: monday Creating backup with DAR...ERROR: Error when executing the backup with DAR. The attempted command was... /usr/bin/dar --batch /etc/sarab/server2/sarab.dcf -c /mnt/backup/server2/.sarab_temp_workdir/07-25-2006_1411 --noconf I have no idea what this means. sarab is in the /etc/sarab directory for server1 and in /etc/sarab/server2 for server2. The command for starting server2 is: /usr/local/sarab/sarab.sh /etc/sarab/server2/sarab.conf What i'm doing wrong? Please help.
