Odd.  gcc 2.95 should support it.  The RedHat-patched gcc-2.96 does
support va_copy.  Unfortunately, gnu.gcc.org doesn't show information
about C99 compliance for versions before 3.0, so I can't tell for sure.

Could you try substituting va_copy with __builtin_va_copy ?

gcc 2.95.4 is not an official GCC release (neither is 2.96 mind you).
3.0 was released June 18th 2001, almost 4 years ago.
