Hello everybody, I'm soon going to upgrade my server OS to FreeBSD 5.4 (backup-format-reconfigure). I initially set it up in 2002 and received lots of good suggestions and help from the users on this list for email setup; the final installation comments are at http://lists.untroubled.org/?list=bgware&cmd=showmsg&msgnum=1385 In light of the new setup I'm going through the applications and considering the best configuration. The current/old configuration doesn't implement TLS which I would like to have, and I would also really like to add low-level (SMTP) verification of the allowed email addresses (maybe pulling the valid addresses from LDAP) so that if an email arrives to an email account that doesn't exist on the system, SMTP server would reject the connection. Finally, since I use IMAP extensively, I would like to upgrade to Courier-IMAP 4.x (currently using 3.0.8), but apparently the interface between 4.x and vmailmgr isn't there yet. I know the encroaches vmailmgr list side as well, but I rather not double-post. Do people here use other IMAP solutions than Courier-IMAP with vmailmgr/mailfront? And, Bruce, what is the current status with the new version of vmailmgr? Thanks again for any advice! // Ville
