  You can get the invalid email rejection mechanism by having a cvm
  running in lookup (vmailmgr) mode and having mailfront reference it.

  Dovecot + mailfront (imapfront) + cvm = happy place
  I think it's been discussed, however briefly, on the list in recent months.
