Whoops! Many apologies for the botched formatting
gotta love yahoo ... :O

Hope this redo fixes that!

Well Mike I don't believe so.

This is what I am trying to accomplish:

We are going to migrate to an Interal Windows 2003 AD
structure which will also entail changing our Internal
DNS to a "non-routeable" domain.

Currently we are using qmail & qmail-scanner to relay
mail to an Internal Exchange Server.

I am looking for a way to rewrite the "From" header on
mail originating from the Exchange box to change the
non-routeable domain name to that of our External
domain. This should allow ( unless I'm missing
something - which is intirely possible ;) the
recipient to "reply" to that message and have it sent
back to our external server.

INET ----- Qmail Gateway Box ------ MS Exchange

Destination <-Qmail + SomeFilter-< e-mail originates
Rewrites FROM: here with a SENDER
                                   of "[email protected]"

Such that:

to smith@???.com
from [email protected]

becomes:

to smith@???.com
from [email protected]

Have any ideas?
