Doh! It looks like something beyond my mailserver added that tidbit,
because it wasn't in my attachment. If you subtract the three lines
above, then you have my run script.

Thanks for the link, I'll bookmark it.

I tried installing strace and running it, but got the following error:

#v+
dave[tigger]~> sudo sh -c '( cd /service/cvm-chain ; strace -f ./run )'
strace: open("/proc/...", ...): No such file or directory
trouble opening proc file
#v-

I'll work on that when I have some time (possibly Friday/Saturday).
However, I did manage to use ktrace on it, and came up with [1] using no
parameters, and [2] using 'ktrace -di'.

[1]: <http://weller-fahy.com/errors/ktrace-run.txt>
[2]: <http://weller-fahy.com/errors/ktrace-di-run.txt>

From the little I understood about what was happening in each,
everything was going fine until the end, when cvm-chain exits(0x106).
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The on screen output of both was:

#v+
*** Starting cvm-chain service...
*** >> configured to chain the following:
*** >> CVM_CHAIN0=/usr/local/bin/cvm-unix
*** >> CVM_CHAIN1=/usr/local/bin/cvm-vmailmgr
#v-

I'm officially stumped (for now), and am out of time for the evening, so I'll
leave this for another night.

Sorry for the confusion over the run script.

Regards,
