Ok.  I am going to update my C wrapper which also intend to support your 
$USE_DOVECOT setting.  Are you intend to release an update release if 
you are going to use $USE_DOVECOT or other name?

I read at your github source at 
https://github.com/bruceg/mailfront/blob/master/imapfront-auth.c which I 
can't find such commit.
