Nicely done. If I ever manage to release a first version of authup (part 
of https://schmonz.com/qmail/acceptutils), then I can start thinking 
about a future version where I manage to implement STARTTLS because of 
small, readable implementations like this one.

As usual, I've updated the pkgsrc package (with a Git mirror at 
https://github.com/schmonz/pkgsrc-mailfront).
