In that case I guess the changes in src/edittools.c and src/cfrun.c not have anything to do with this problem? I try to find out if this patch could help our Debian bug #482439 [2]. I know it's hard, but it would be very nice if you only submit fixes for one problem or new feature at the time into SVN, and together with each checkin also include a changelog-entry.
