Hello,

Question: How modularity streams are being handled while installing package
using yum/dnf in CFEngine?
Environment: lots of RHEL7 and RHEL8; CFE 3.15 (community);

We are trying to streamline the NVIDIA drivers on rhel7 and rhel8 and
nvidia drivers are very sensitive to kernel version. The official website
of nvidia says to install the drivers on rhel8 using:
$ sudo dnf module install nvidia-driver:<stream>/<profile>
https://docs.nvidia.com/datacenter/tesla/tesla-installation-notes/index.html#rhel8
https://docs.nvidia.com/datacenter/tesla/tesla-installation-notes/index.html#rhel7

On the official documentation of CFEngine i did not find any information on
how to install the package using streams:
https://docs.cfengine.com/docs/master/examples-tutorials-manage-packages.html

I have found the issue CFE-3634
(https://northerntech.atlassian.net/browse/CFE-3634) which happens to
revolve around the same issue and it is still OPEN. So I was wondering if
this has been implemented in newer version of CFEngine or is there any
workaround to manage this?

Any help or guidance is appreciated.

Many thanks!

Sonia Taneja
