What are the advantages of WBEM, it seems to be oriented to enterprise
only. Is it suited to desktop too? At a very superficial glance it
looked like a CORBA kind of interface, am i wrong?

I want to try to develop a network configuration backend, where should i
start? Should extend the perl module bundled with c4g or there is
another way?
