The gcc libjava testsuite does not work with dejagnu 1.6

As posted at https://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-bugs/2016-04/msg01858.html, the gcc libjava testsuite does not work with dejagnu 1.6

ERROR: (DejaGnu) proc "absolute
/opt/gcc/build_c/x86_64-apple-darwin15.4.0/libjava/testsuite" does not exist.
The error code is TCL LOOKUP COMMAND absolute
The info on the error is:
invalid command name "absolute"
    while executing
"::tcl_unknown absolute
