Hi, I am currently working on porting LCDproc to OpenBSD. Thus far I am able to drive a HD44780 and curses LCD with only minor patching. However the xosd driver appears to be misbehaving. The LCDd.conf setion for xosd is as follows: ---8<--- ## OnScreen Display using libxosd ## [xosd] # set display size [default: 20x4] Size=20x4 # Offset in pixels from the top-left corner of the monitor [default: 0x0] Offset=0x0 # X font to use, in XLFD format, as given by "xfontsel" Font=-*-charter-*-r-*-*-19-*-*-*-*-*-*-* ---8<--- I had to change the font, as terminus is not installed by default. Now if I run `LCDd -fs0`, I see in green text "## LCDproc Server ##' at the top left of my left monitor. If I compare this to the curses driver, I notice that the xosd only displays the first line of the screen. I tried running in a non-tiling window manager too and observed the same issue. I also noticed that if I drag windows on top of the display and off again, parts of the display become discoloured. Sounds like the display is failing to update? Attaching clients makes no difference to the OSD display. Any ideas? Cheers -- Best Regards Edd Barrett http://www.theunixzoo.co.uk
