Auto brightness?

I want to controll the brigntness of my lcd screen depending on the
system status - for example if i do nothing on the pc, the screen
should go dark, if i do something the screen should go bright.
I didnt found any settings in LCDd.conf or the lcdproc.conf, and the
documentation also does not say anything about it.

is this possible?
