Problem with nmediapc LCD

Hello,

I just added a nmediapc LCD to my htpc running minimyth.

Overall it seems to work well and talks to mythtv.

However, I am having two issues:

Symptoms:
1) With the LCD plugged into USB and using the lis driver, LCDd will not 
die.  During suspend, minimyth tries to stop the LCDd process and 
restart it upon waking up.  However, the process is not dying when sent 
the kill signal.  It requires a kill -9 to get LCDd to die.
2) WIth the LCD plugged into USB but without lcdproc running, the 
machine will go to sleep but instantly powers back on.  If I unplug the 
USB connection for the LCD altogether, the machine goes to sleep and 
wakes up without issue.  This isn't an lcdproc specific issue, but I was 
hoping others on the list might have encountered it.

I would welcome any input or guidance on working through these two issues.
