I feel that lasso tool is not a good idea. because of windows DOMAIN required, :-)
snare is a good idea, but need parse the the syslog to c1, c2, ...cn to report it. event log --> syslog --->mysql column(1), ...
I have implemented many loglogic appliance in telecom field. :-)
