I'm looking for any gotchas on implementation/design issues regarding using log4j SyslogAppender. Currently we use flat log files for logging and are looking to use syslog to ease the pain of pulling logs into a SIM. I'd be interested in any issues surrounding message size limitations, etc. -- offset - ubersecurity org
