At the bottom of my pmcd.log file I see some messages with the following:

*pmcd(18302) Error: ClientLoop: error sending Conn ACK PDU to new client IPC protocol failure*

I don't have any /var/log/pcp/pmcd/pmda.log.

After several restarts of pmcd and pmlogger, metrics are getting collected again. I just wonder why sometimes it works and sometimes it does not.
