You should find qa/743 to be a good reference, as its doing the same basic
thing for pcp-numastat(1) - another python utility like pcp-tapestat.

There's no need to test pmrep with these metrics as that tool has its own
set of tests already, and you're not adding any custom pmrep configuration
at this stage.

Let me know if there's any issues, but it should be straight forward using
the numastat example.  We prefer to merge new tests at the same time as new
code, so I'll wait for the test at this stage (let me know if there's going
to be a delay there and I'll help out).
