It's still unfortunate that you have to download the entire 3+GB file just to get the ITM agent :( Loren Cain On Thu, Nov 15, 2012 at 4:00 PM, Gregory Mendes <[email protected]>wrote: > That's great John. > > Greg > > ------------------------------ > To: [email protected] > Subject: Fw: [TME10] ITM TSM Agent > From: jalvord-r/[email protected] > Date: Thu, 15 Nov 2012 12:35:15 -0800 > > > A quick note - I have been told that TSM 6.3.3 - which will be published > shortly, does have a supported procedure to install into an existing ITM > environment. > > Regards, > > > *John Alvord* - Ph: 1-720-396-2788 Cell: none > Customer Support - Tivoli Software - *jalvord-r/[email protected]*<jalvord-r/[email protected]> > Advisory Engineer - Tivoli Monitoring - ITM infrastructure > Follow us on Twitter! *@Tivolisupport* <http://twitter.com/TivoliSupport>and > *Facebook* <https://www.facebook.com/IBMTivoliSupport> > Personalize your support needs with the *IBM Support Portal*<http://www.ibm.com/support/electronicsupport/> > Use *Service Request*<http://www.ibm.com/software/support/servicerequest/quick_start.html>to get assistance! > For emails regarding a PMR, copy *[email protected]*<[email protected]> > For secure browser uploads: *https://www.ecurep.ibm.com/app/upload*<https://www.ecurep.ibm.com/app/upload> > For Customer Support guidance: *IBM Software Support Handbook*<http://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/set2/sas/f/handbook/home.html> > <http://twitter.com/TivoliSupport> > > ----- Forwarded by John Alvord/Menlo Park/IBM on 11/15/2012 12:32 PM ----- > > From: Jay Slay <[email protected]> > To: "Discussion list for Tivoli product and Tivoli Ready > products." <[email protected]>, > Date: 11/14/2012 08:59 AM > Subject: Re: [TME10] ITM TSM Agent > Sent by: [email protected] > ------------------------------ > > > > I wonder if that version works with TSM 6.3 (or whatever its at now) > > > On Nov 14, 2012, at 10:12 AM, Loren Cain <*[email protected]*<[email protected]>> > wrote: > > I don't have my detailed notes handy, nor do I have the original multi-GB > download file, but here's some info: > > I believe I used the following package for my sk monitoring agents: > IBM Tivoli Storage Manager V6.2.0 Linux x86 Reporting & Monitoring, > English(CZE97EN) > > I don't have the full package handy, so I can't tell you the full path > within the tar file, but somewhere in there is the ITM agent directory. > Within that directory is a 'FILES' directory, which should be one level > below the directory containing the TSM_Agent.xml file.
