Hi John,

Are you talking about ITM SUper Tool for ITM or something else?

I suppose you could have a periodic SQL that went against WAREHOUSLOG

I also *think* there is an ITM Super function that does approximately that
same thing.

We use the WAREHOUSLOG table to track historical collection data for all
agents and attribute groups.

We found that not only do certain agents stop sending data due to issues,
but certain collection data files can get corrupted, so you need to make
sure all the collections are working for an agent.

Cheers,

If there are errors with the export, or connecting and inserting into the
DB, then the answer is yes. If there were no errors and the agent simply
didn't export the data for some reason, then no. I wrote an impact policy
to check the cpu tables for my OS agents since I am globally collecting
those attribute groups. If an online OS agent hasn't inserted a row in
the last X minutes, then I send alerts to omnibus. I'm sure others have
engineered similar solutions. We find that most of the time when the
agent hasn't collected, it is due to a performance problem on the server.
A few times the server in question was completely hung due to an
application issue and this is all that caught it...sadly enough.
