RE: IBM and Oracle JRE in general

Hi, THx.

Doesn't cut it for me. Our workstations will have JRE 7 ONLY, by the end of Q1 2013, security reasons etc. etc.

So there will be a quarter when our admins can't use WEB Start Clients. Installing IBM JRE is an option for those who are local admin but far from all users are.

I need to work some multiple JRE existence into our worksatation platform.

That's a question for IBM ;-)
I have no idea when 6.3 will see the daylight, but I guess beginning of 2Q2013.

Meanwhile you can still use IBM JRE for TEP client, it has support until 2017:
https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/jdk/lifecycle/

So ITM 6.3 will be almost definitely GA before EOL of IBM Java 6 JRE :)
