http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/data/library/techarticle/dm-0608mcinerney/ MDCs/MQTs/Range partitioning (Assumes DPF and table partitioning) will make any TDW scream...assuming there are enough BI/OLAP type queries for anyone to notice the run time difference should you spend the time to enhance the DDL. Of course a little runstat'ing/reorg'ing goes a long way as well (weekly is fine), but then you might have those already set to "AUTO".
