I am developing an agent with Agent Builder V6.2.3 FP1 to retrieve data with 'SNMP get' using the SNMPv2 connection type. The target was configured to support SNMPv2 , but no data was retrieved. The target had to be configured to support SNMPv1 as well. Regardless of what the configuration was set to on the Agent Builder agent, whether it was SNMPv1, v2c or v3 the agent always connected with SNMPv1. This could be seen capturing the network packet.

Has anyone come across this issue? Is there a fix?

Regards,
Anders
