Thanks Venkat! You have the best responses--they are always informative and useful. Subject: Re: [TME10] Uptime Reports Michael, The answer depends on the version of your ITM environment. If you are running 6.2.3 FP01 or later (not sure if it is available on earlier versions), the uptime and downtime values are not only available in ITM but they are included in the OS agent data model as well, so you don't need to make any custom changes to the data model. For example, the uptime and downtime percent values in the data model are available under Key Metrics->Availablity->Platform Availablity->Daily->Availablity Daily path. Remember that these are calculated values based on the following ITM attributes and provide only one data point per day. (No hourly summarization available). They indicate the % availability for the given host on a given day. Cognos calculates the values based on the following ITM attributes * Linux - KLZ_System_Statistics - Tot_System_uptime * Windows - NT_system_DV - Tot_System_Up_Time_64 * Unix - KUX_System_DV -TOT_Up_Time You can use the above ITM attributes, if you want different representation other than what is provided by the built-in data model. Hope this helps. with warm regards, Venkat Saranathan Gulf Breeze Software. Visiting Pulse 2013? Stop by our booth in the Expo and ask your Tivoli questions. They are like the legendary TPS reports but not funny at all. Is there a universal uptime metric/attribute in the lz ux nt (px) agents that would satisfy this so I can get something going in the TCR? I don't recall anything in the native Cognos canned reports and am aware that I could create an agent for this or script around. Doesn't seem like an exotic request but drilling down into it for things like SLAs does get a bit deeper. The goal is to get managers pretty uptime charts with data in a native AG. They're therapeutic and seem to make them happy regardless of their utility.
