Re: TEC to Omnibus old events

Netcool/OMNIbus is designed to keep only current active events in the 
in-memory database.   Reference to historic events is managed by launch in 
context (LIC) tools to a back end event archive. 

We provide a JDBC gateway, (optionally DB2), and Tivoli Common Reporting 
to support the archive both for LIC tools, and additional reporting.
