John: Of the various things you've dug into, IMHO this is your best effort,
only because it is so arcane and yet has potential to have such a large
impact, at least in mid to large ENVs. For example the UNIT trace and
resulting line to check for in the RAS1 log alone are a nice addition of
knowledge, so many thanks there. Unfortunate that our current ENV is still
at 6.23 FP1 so we can't utilize them. Interestingly just last week we were
getting tons of new _Z_ sits in OMNIBus which were proving stubborn to
clear with the normal triggers and so I thought perhaps changing the
sampling intervals of the Windows OS situations to relative prime intervals
(3 min, 5 min ,7 min etc...) would eradicate them. Alas, it didn't reduce
their number by much, which told me that my assumption that the NT sits
were the culprits was incorrect. So I took the sad step of removing DUPER
functionality altogether via the variable, and we are thus now missing out
on its more useful instances. I look forward to moving up to 6.23 FP2+ or
6.3 so that I have an easier method to determine which sits are being
DUPERized to eliminate them. Thanks again for the very concise and
informative post.
