Hi.

Turned out that IBM had a fix for kuxagent that solved this problem. It will be GA in 6.2.3 FP4.
Don’t go 6.2.3.2 IF2 without it if you run agents on Solaris.

Relate to PMR 48620 130 846 if you wish.

Hi.

Yes I have. But the argument get truncated at the agent. IBM has confirmed this as a defect.
I will update when a fix is avail.

Hi Gus,
I can't comment, not using those levels of agent on Solaris, but have you tried using the process filter attribute?

Hi all.

FYI. Seems like version 6.23.2.2 of the KUX agent is truncating process arguments at 80 chars on Solaris 10. I’ve had this before, but then it was due to Solaris 10 permissions. This time it happens on an agent that run as root. Worked fine on 6.22.4 but after upgrade arguments are truncated. Makes it hard to monitor java processes with long arguments.

Working a PMR with IBM atm.

If anyone can confirm I would be happy.
