The universal agent is logically replaced with the agent builder, but can read from a Mib and listen for snmp traps, not send them. It's Assumed that itm is the destination here. So, you have the option of customising the situations to take an action to issue a trap and send to hp, or emit eif events, intercept them with omnibus or tec or your own code, and then generate a trap from there. I have used open source code in the past to generate a trap. Hope this helps Richard Hine 07734 325154 On 7 Sep 2013, at 09:30, Nooruddin Abbas <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi Members, > > I have a requirement to forward SNMP traps from ITM in to HP openview. > We used to do this using the Universal Agent and the SNMP emitter. > > I believe the Universal Agent no longer exists from V6.3 onwards.
