http://bugs.hylafax.org/show_bug.cgi?id=434 [email protected] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] ------- Comment #2 from [email protected] 2004-12-17 01:29 ------- I have *always* had faxsetup complain that the directory /usr/share/ghostscript/fonts does not exist. It's never been a problem, though, but afm files are stored in these locations: /usr/share/fonts/default/ghostscript from the ghostscript-fonts package /usr/share/fonts/default/Type1 from the urw-fonts package /usr/share/fonts/default/ISO8859-7/Type1 from the XFree86-ISO8859-7-Type1-fonts package and /usr/share/fonts/afms/adobe from the gnome-print package. 'gs -h' tells me this: Search path: . : /usr/share/ghostscript/7.03/lib : /usr/share/ghostscript/fonts : /usr/share/fonts/default/ghostscript : /usr/share/fonts/default/Type1 Which is slightly funny because /usr/share/ghostscript/fonts doesn't exist and /usr/share/fonts/default/Type1 is from a different package. Fontmap.GS is in /usr/share/ghostscript/7.03/lib I don't really understand what the relationship between the AFM files and the Fontmap file is, and what faxsetup is really trying to do at this moment, but it certainly would be nice to not have an error when there is no problem. ------- Comment #3 from [email protected] 2005-01-11 13:53 ------- [email protected] wrote: > In any case, wunning "faxsetup" after installing rpm the correct path (read from > the installed gs interpreter) is added to /etc/hylafax/hyla.conf This is also my understanding. Steve, can I close this bug? -Darren ------- Comment #4 from [email protected] 2005-01-11 16:56 ------- Can't we do something about the bogus error message, though? ------- Comment #5 from [email protected] 2009-08-07 15:13 ------- *** Bug 773 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.hylafax.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Developers Mailing List ____________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe [email protected] < /dev/null
