Had the same problem (segfaults several times a day) with 6.0.3 on Ubuntu 9.10. 

Upgraded to version 6.0.4 (from Debian testing) on 26th, received 70+ faxes
without any problem.

So it looks like version 6.0.4 fixed the problem.
