           Summary: bin/notify doesn't work correctly
           Product: HylaFAX
           Version: 6.0.3
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: blocker
          Priority: P2
         Component: notify
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

Hi,
i apologise in advance for my bad English, i hope you can understand me.

I noticed an error in the script /bin/notify, this error affects its
functioning.

In the line 181 the first CASE starts, where there are, among others, the
conditions:

"always:*")
"yes:*")
"errors:*")

with the name totally enclosed in the quotes, including the asterisk symbol,
while in second CASE, in the conditions:

*":always")
"blocked:"*)

the asterisk is outside the string.

In the first CASE the asterisk is not evaluated as expected, I mean as a
wildcard, because the script does not work (at least for me), while in the
second CASE conditions are correct and the asterisk becomes the wildcard.
I had to make the following changes to make the first CASE work

Line 182:
First:
  "always:*")
Then
 "always:"*)

Line 183:
First:
  "yes:*")
Then:
   "yes:"*)

Line 187:
First:
  "errors:*")
Then:
  "errors:"*)

By making these changes everything worked properly.

I do not know if this is a mistake but in my case I had to change it as I
described above, to make it work properly.

I hope you'll find this helpful.

Bye

Denis
