I'm trying a vanilla build (configure args: --disable-pam) on a slackware 12.2
box using gcc-4.5.1.  The build dies with:

/usr/bin/g++                              -D__ANSI_CPP__ -I. -I.. -I.././util
-I.././util -I.././regex  -march=native -msse2 -mfpmath=sse -O3 -ffast-math
-funroll-loops -fomit-frame-pointer -floop-interchange -floop-strip-mine
-floop-block -fpic -O  -c Dispatcher.c++
